Retro Cream And Red Striped Lobster Sweater

I got this as a gift for my mom who loves nautical themes. She absolutely adored the retro vibe and the lobsters are distinct without being too cheesy. The knitting is decent quality, though I noticed a loose thread near the cuff that I had to trim. The red is a tiny bit darker in person, more of a brick red than bright crimson, but still looks expensive.

Bought this for a holiday gathering and got so many compliments! The material is surprisingly soft, not itchy at all like I expected. It fits a little boxy but I like that oversized look. True to size.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much for the price point, but this is a solid knit. It arrived quickly and didn't have any weird chemical smells. I’m 5'7" and the medium fits perfectly slouchy. It's warm enough for a chilly day but not suffocating indoors. The pattern is actually woven in, not just printed on top, which makes a huge difference in durability. Super cute design and very cozy feel. My only small complaint is that it started pilling under the arms after the first wear. I ran a fabric shaver over it and it looks brand new again, but just something to be aware of if you hate maintenance.
