Paisley Print Fringe Top & Mini Skirt Set

I've worn this three times now and it's held up through a sweaty outdoor concert and a dinner. The material is that crinkly rayon-ish stuff — lightweight, breathes okay, but it does wrinkle if you sit on it for a while. Not a dealbreaker for me. What sold me is how flattering the cut is; the skirt flares just enough and the top nips in at the waist. I'm 5'7", 145 lbs, and the medium fit true. I ordered a large first and it was swimming on me, so sizing is pretty standard. Great little summer set.

Shipping was quick, arrived in about four days, and it came folded in a plastic bag with no damage. Honestly I was nervous ordering online but the set looks like the photos. Colors are a bit deeper in person — more burnt orange than the bright coral on my screen — but I actually like it better. Stitching along the fringe is even. I took one star off because there was a loose thread on the hem and the top is a little tight across the chest. I'm a 34C in a small, so maybe size up if you're busty.

I'm usually between a small and medium and went with the medium — smart move, because the skirt runs a touch small. The top has that stretchy smocked back so it hugs without digging in, and the fringe actually moves when you walk instead of hanging stiff. The paisley print is crisp, not blurry like some cheap prints. Wore it to a rooftop birthday and got stopped twice. Fabric is thin but not see-through in the skirt, which surprised me. Only thing is the top rides up a bit when you raise your arms. Still keeping it.

Got this for my sister's bachelorette party and honestly it stole the show. Everybody asked where it was from. The paisley is busy but not overwhelming, and the fringe detail makes it feel a lot more expensive than it was. I'm 5'2" and the mini skirt was a good length for me, not scandalous. Zipper is smooth. Washed it on cold and hung to dry, and the fringe survived fine. Only downside: the top is a little short, so if you're tall your midriff will show. Didn't bother me. Would recommend for a festival or a night out.

Bought this for a girls' trip to Nashville and it was perfect. The two pieces read like a real outfit, not a costume, and I could wear the top with jeans the next day. Fringe on the sleeves is sewn down properly — no shedding all over my bag. Skirt has a side zip and sits right at the waist. I'm 5'4" and it hit mid-thigh, which I liked. It got a little wrinkly in my suitcase but shook out fine. For the price I expected way less. Would buy it in another print.
