I was honestly hesitant because velvet can look tacky, but this dress is actually gorgeous quality for the price. The fabric feels weighty and expensive. I wore it for New Year's Eve and felt great. My only gripe is that the color is a bit darker in person than the photos show. I ordered the emerald green expecting a bright jewel tone, but it's definitely a very deep forest green. Still pretty, but just a heads up if you're picky about the shade! Also, I’m 5'7" and it's definitely very short on me, so I had to wear safety shorts underneath. Giving it 4 stars because of the color discrepancy, but otherwise, it's a keeper.

Bought this for my company holiday party and wow! The velvet is super soft, not cheap looking at all. I got so many compliments. It fits true to size, maybe a little snug in the hips but stretchy enough. Definitely recommend for the price.
