Elegant Strapless Peplum Top & Maxi Skirt Set

Ordered this in black, size medium, and it fit true to size. The material is a smooth stretchy crepe-like fabric that doesn't wrinkle easily, which was great since I packed it for a weekend trip. Wore it to a rooftop dinner and felt dressed up without trying too hard. Stitching looks clean, no loose threads anywhere, and the skirt has a hidden side zip that works smoothly. Took one star off because the fabric is thinner than I imagined and shows every bump, so I wore shapewear underneath. Still a solid pick for the money.

Okay so I was nervous ordering a set online, but this one worked out. The skirt hits right at my ankles and the peplum creates a nice hourglass shape without squeezing my stomach. I wore it to a baby shower and three people asked where I got it. The color matches the photos too, I got the dusty rose and it's not washed out or weirdly bright. I sized up to a large and that was the right call. Delivery was faster than the estimate, maybe five days. Only complaint is the top slides a tiny bit when I raise my arms.

Wore this to a formal work dinner and it held up great. The skirt swishes when you walk, which I love, and the strapless top actually stays up on its own. I did use fashion tape just in case but it probably didn't need it. The fabric has a little stretch so sitting through a long dinner wasn't uncomfortable at all. Washed it on cold and hung it to dry with no fading or shrinking. My one issue is the peplum is kind of stiff at first, though it softened after one wear. For the price I'd buy it again in another color.

The peplum part sits nicely at my waist and doesn't bunch up, and the maxi skirt has a good weight to it so it doesn't feel cheap or see-through. I'm 5'4" and wore it with heels, and the length was just right. The strapless top stayed put all night, even after dinner and dancing. Shipping took about a week and the packaging was fine. Only small thing is I wish the top had a bit more structure, but I'd still wear it again.
