Lace Bodice Satin Mermaid Prom Maxi Dress

I ordered this dress for a black-tie wedding. The lace detail on the bodice is gorgeous and the satin feels high quality. However, the dress was way too long for me even with 3-inch heels. I had to get it hemmed, which cost extra. The mermaid silhouette is flattering though, and the color is exactly as pictured. I gave 4 stars because of the length issue, but otherwise it's a beautiful dress.

My daughter wore this to her prom and it was stunning. The lace bodice is really well made, not cheap looking at all. The satin skirt has a beautiful sheen and the mermaid flare is dramatic without being too much. She's usually a size 4 and the 4 fit perfectly, though we did have to hem it about two inches since she's short. Shipping was fast, arrived in 5 days. She got so many compliments.
