Serenity Olive Green Halter Ruched Satin Maxi Dress

Bought this on a whim for a dinner date and it's become my go-to. The ruching is really flattering and sits at the right spot, not too high, not awkwardly low. The satin feels substantial, definitely not thin or see-through. I'm 5'6" and wore it with strappy sandals, hem skimmed the floor which I liked. The halter neck stayed put all night, no constant adjusting. Cold wash and hang dry and it still looks new after three wears. My only note: the green reads slightly more muted in indoor lighting, so if you want a bright pop of color this isn't it. Still love it.

Ordered this for a bachelorette party and it arrived faster than I expected, like four days. Packaging was fine, just a plastic bag, so it was a little wrinkled and I had to steam it. The dress itself is pretty, the olive is rich and the satin catches light nicely. Fit runs a touch big in the waist for me, I'm usually a medium and could've sized down. The back has a bit of stretch so it wasn't a dealbreaker. Got compliments all night. Took off a star just because of the wrinkles and sizing. For the price it's a solid buy.

The satin has a nice weight to it, not that cheap shiny stuff that wrinkles the second you sit down. The halter ties are adjustable, which helped since I'm pretty small on top. The ruching hides everything you want hidden. Length hit right at my ankles with heels. Only thing is it showed a little sweat in the heat, but nothing crazy. Would definitely order again in another color.

The satin drapes really nicely and the ruching around the middle is forgiving, I felt confident without shapewear. Wore it to a rooftop engagement party and it was comfortable enough to dance in. Zipper is a little stiff at first but loosens up. Color is a true olive, kind of earthy and elegant. Would recommend for tall girls especially.
