Elegant Colorblock Ruched Waist Pleated Maxi Dress

I was a bit skeptical about ordering such a complex dress online, but it exceeded my expectations. The fabric feels premium and the colorblock transitions are seamless, which is hard to find at this price point. I wear a medium and the ruched waist cinches in just the right spot without being too tight. I wore it to a garden wedding and got so many compliments on how it moves. The dress itself is stunning. The pleats hold up well and the color combination is exactly what was pictured, with no weird tinting. It’s very flattering for my hourglass figure because the waist definition is actually built into the construction. I did have to return a different item I ordered at the same time, which delayed the whole package, but that’s on the carrier, not the seller. It feels very well put together with hidden zippers and clean stitching. Just a heads up that it runs a little small in the shoulders, so size up if you have broad shoulders. Otherwise, five stars for the garment itself.

Bought this for a friend's outdoor dinner party and it was such a hit. The maxi length is great because it feels breezy, but the pleating gives it enough structure so it doesn't look like a beach towel. The quality is surprisingly good for the price; the lining is smooth and prevents any transparency, which is a huge plus. I'm 5'7" and the length hits right at my ankles, which looks very intentional. The only minor issue is that the fabric is a bit prone to static in dry weather, but a little dryer sheet fixed that.
