Elegant Silky Satin Robe Maxi Dress

Okay so this dress is genuinely gorgeous in person. The silky feel is luxurious and the color I got (emerald green) is rich and vibrant. I wore it to a holiday party and felt amazing. My only issue is the sizing runs a bit weird. I ordered my usual medium and the bust was snug while the hips had lots of room. I'd recommend sizing up if you're between sizes or have a larger chest. The quality is solid for the price point though, and the stitching looks clean. Shipping took about 10 days which was fine. I kept it and got it taken in slightly. Still a solid purchase overall.

Honestly did not expect much from ordering a dress online but wow this exceeded my expectations. I'm a 38DD and was nervous about fit but the cut is super flattering with enough room up top and a cinched waist that's adjustable. The satin has a weight to it so it doesn't cling to anything you don't want it to. I've worn it twice now, once to a fancy brunch and once to a gallery opening, and both times people asked where I got it. The lining inside is smooth and comfortable even after hours of wearing. Washing it by hand was easy too and it held up great. Fast shipping as well. Obsessed.

I bought this for our 10th anniversary dinner and got SO many compliments. The satin fabric has this gorgeous sheen that catches the light beautifully without looking cheap or tacky. It drapes really nicely and the maxi length makes you feel like old Hollywood glamour. I'm about 5'6" and it hits right at my ankles with heels. The material is surprisingly thick too, not see-through at all. Only thing I'd note is it wrinkles a little if you sit for long, but a quick steam fixes it. Shipped faster than expected and came in a cute garment bag. Definitely worth every penny.
